About Us
RSEA Safety is Australia’s largest independent safety retailer, supplying workwear, PPE and safety equipment across Retail, B2B and Hire.
With a national network approaching 100 stores and a significant digital operation, we’re looking for an experienced eCommerce Specialist to join our technology team in Hurstville.
The Role
Reporting to the eCommerce Manager, this is a hands-on 12-month contract role with the potential to become permanent, focused on the operation, optimisation and continuous improvement of RSEA’s B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms.
You’ll manage day-to-day platform operations, troubleshoot website and system issues, coordinate technical fixes and enhancements and help improve the performance and reliability of our digital storefronts.
Working closely with eCommerce, IT, Marketing, Buying, Product and external vendors, you’ll operate across systems including Commerce Vision, Pronto ERP, integrations, payment gateways and freight services.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations across RSEA’s eCommerce platformsInvestigate and resolve website, checkout, order, content and platform issuesConfigure promotions, merchandising rules and platform functionalityTroubleshoot issues across eCommerce systems, ERP and integrationsCoordinate fixes and enhancements with IT, vendors and external partnersMonitor integrations and scheduled processes and resolve failuresTest platform changes, integrations and fixes before releaseIdentify recurring issues and drive process improvementsMonitor digital trading and website performancePrepare platform and operational reportingMaintain platform documentation and operating proceduresProvide platform and process support across the eCommerce team
About You
Experience in eCommerce, digital trading, platform operations or online merchandisingStrong working knowledge of eCommerce platformsExperience troubleshooting website, platform and operational issuesComfortable working with IT teams, vendors and external partnersStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilityStrong Excel skills and familiarity with CSV-based workflowsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage competing prioritiesConfident communicating technical issues to non-technical stakeholdersCommerce Vision experience is advantageous but not essential
