Description

Role Description As a Rust Engineer at RubyCode, you will design, develop, and maintain backend services and system-level components using Rust in a production environment. You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, perform code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions for high-performance and reliable systems. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, optimizing existing functionality, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as DevOps, QA, and product management. You will also participate in testing, benchmarking, and security hardening efforts to ensure robust and stable software. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Zagreb, Croatia, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.
