About The Role A career as an AWS Cloud Senior Developer on the Corporate Services IT Delivery team at National Bank means acting as a cloud development expert. Your deep knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps practices will enable you to contribute to the evolution of the Accurate application while building and enhancing high-performing, secure, and scalable environments. This role gives you the opportunity to make a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in cloud development, automation, and modern infrastructure management. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that supports critical banking applications, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability. As part of your responsibilities, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in cloud architecture, automation, and security, helping the bank stay ahead in the digital banking landscape. Your efforts will directly influence the efficiency and resilience of our technological ecosystem, enabling the bank to deliver innovative solutions to our clients efficiently and securely. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, coupled with relevant software development experience. A minimum of five years of experience in a complex technology environment, particularly in cloud development, is essential. Experience with AWS cloud services or comparable platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform is required; AWS certification is considered an asset. Proficiency with DevOps tools including Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub is necessary, along with familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Strong SQL skills and experience developing solutions for critical production environments are also important. Knowledge of banking operations, reconciliation processes, or familiarity with the Accurate application will be advantageous. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and enhance cloud infrastructure that supports the bank’s business applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.Implement and optimize DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, monitoring, and security protocols.Develop and improve functionalities and reconciliation processes within the Accurate application to meet evolving business needs.Ensure the availability, performance, reliability, and security of both development and production environments.Collaborate with technology teams to implement robust, scalable solutions aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud development processes, tools, and standards, fostering innovation and efficiency.
