A world-leading technology staffing firm is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team, working with a client that is a fast-growing tech company disrupting the healthcare technology space by building innovative solutions for claims processing, eligibility, and care coordination.
The Role
Architect and build large-scale, resilient serverless systems using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS services.
Develop robust backend APIs for both member-facing and partner-integrated applications.
Write high-quality, test-driven Python services with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
Implement secure, compliant data flows, adhering to healthcare privacy standards.
Partner with Data Engineering and Analytics to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Lead cross-functional discussions, propose long-term scalable solutions, and mentor other engineers.
What You'll Need
7+ years of backend engineering experience with production-grade systems.
Expert-level experience with AWS serverless technologies and event-driven design.
