About The Role We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis for an initial duration of 12+ months. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and involves working on cutting-edge web development projects utilizing PHP and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. As a PHP Developer at Reliable Software Resources Inc., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient web applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and user experience. Qualifications The successful candidate should possess a solid foundation in SQL and database schema design, with experience working with Oracle DBMS being highly preferred. Candidates should have excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, along with a good understanding of web standards and their application. A strong grasp of modern web technologies, including AJAX, MVC concepts, and object-oriented PHP, is essential. Experience with frameworks such as Kohana MVC is advantageous. Familiarity with source code version control systems like Subversion, Git, or CVS is required, with Subversion being preferred. Additional skills that are a plus include Perl scripting and Unix Shell Scripting. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively within remote teams, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.
