Description

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and oversee the overall software architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, performance, and alignment with business requirements.Architect and guide the implementation of microservices-based solutions that support seamless integration and high system performance.Design and develop AI-enabled software solutions, integrating AI/ML models, LLMs, APIs, and intelligent automation into applications where appropriate.Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and development teams to define architecture for AI-powered applications, model integration, data pipelines, and inference services.Evaluate and implement emerging Generative AI, LLM, RAG, vector database, and AI agent technologies to enhance products and engineering capabilities.Develop and optimize cloud-native applications using AWS services to improve scalability, availability, security, and operational efficiency.Establish engineering best practices by promoting clean, maintainable, and testable code through code reviews, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and coding standards.Partner with product managers, designers, AI/ML teams, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.Ensure system stability and availability by proactively identifying risks, resolving performance bottlenecks, and implementing reliability improvements.Design and manage integrations with third-party services, including authentication systems, API gateways, AI/LLM services, monitoring platforms, search services, and other enterprise tools.Provide technical guidance and architectural direction to development teams while mentoring engineers and supporting technical decision-making.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, AI capabilities, and development efficiency.Identify opportunities to leverage AI-assisted development tools and automation to improve software development productivity and quality. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-scale web applications.Demonstrated experience as a Software Architect, Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar technical leadership role.Strong expertise in software architecture principles, design patterns, distributed systems, and scalable application design.Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable microservices architectures.Strong proficiency in backend development using Node.js and frontend technologies such as React or Vue.js.Practical experience with AI/ML technologies and AI-powered application development.Experience integrating Generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs, RAG architectures, vector databases, or AI agents into software applications is highly desirable.Understanding of AI/ML model lifecycle, model serving/inference, prompt engineering, embeddings, and AI system architecture.Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.Strong knowledge of cloud computing, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), containerization technologies, and API Gateway services.Experience designing scalable architectures for AI workloads and data-intensive applications is an advantage.Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket, including feature branching and collaborative development workflows.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices and experience participating in sprint planning, roadmap discussions, and retrospectives.Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor developers, conduct technical reviews, and drive engineering excellence.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable solutions for complex business and technical challenges.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical, product, business, and AI/ML teams.Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools is an advantage.Passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with evolving AI technologies, software architecture trends, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.
