As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will lead the technical design of enterprise web applications across both client delivery engagements and internal A&M platforms and tooling. This is a hands-on engineering role: you will own systems end-to-end, from technical design through production support, set the technical bar for the engineers around you, and move between client work and platform work as priorities evolve. The role is Sydney-based and hybrid, with minimal travel beyond occasional client-site visits. We are looking for engineers who write real, production-grade code and reason about systems from first principles — versatile, comfortable with ambiguity, and enthusiastic about taking on new problems across the full stack. How You Will Contribute Lead the technical design of projects critical to client delivery and internal platform roadmaps, and implement a significant portion of those designs yourselfDesign, build, and maintain full stack web applications for enterprise clients and internal A&M platforms, owning features end-to-end across front-end, back-end, APIs, and data layers from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production supportMake and defend architecture and technical design decisions for systems that need to scale, stay secure, and remain maintainable across large, high-stakes organizationsConduct deep technical code reviews and mentor engineers on the team, modeling high standards for testability, readability, and resilience, and championing testing discipline, CI/CD, and secure codingAct as a technical point of contact for client stakeholders and internal partners, translating technical decisions into terms the business can act on Qualifications Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g. TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Go)3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, C#, Python, or Go codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching production web applications2 years of experience with software design and architecture, including cloud-native systems (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role, leading technical design or mentoring engineersExperience designing and operating distributed systems or high-traffic APIs, including performance, caching, and failure-mode analysisExperience in a consulting or professional services environment, or working directly with enterprise or Fortune 500 clientsExperience with Azure-native services (App Service, Functions, AKS) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent)Experience with secure coding practices and enterprise compliance requirements (e.g. SOC 2, data privacy)Experience across both greenfield builds and legacy or enterprise system modernization Your journey at A&M We recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person's unique professional and personal development.
