As part of the global Scientific Games Group www.scientificgames.com Scientific Games International GmbH in Vienna - the largest provider in Europe - develops and manages systems for more than 20 state lotteries in Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania. Our Infrastructure Team at our European Headquarters in Vienna has an immediate opening for a DevOps Specialist Tasks & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure on OpenShift and AWS, aligned with best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, and design CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) for efficient and reliable deployments. Ensure security and compliance across all cloud environments, and drive observability by leveraging monitoring tools to proactively resolve issues. Collaborate across Dev, QA, and Ops to embed DevOps practices and toolchains, while mentoring teams to promote continuous learning and improvement. Requirements: Technical academic background Advanced knowledge of LINUX and LINUX infrastructures Advanced knowledge in the field of virtualization (vSphere, KVM, Hyper-V) Advanced knowledge of OpenShift and/or Kubernetes incl.
