Description

Security Engineer / Architect My client is looking for an experienced Security Engineer / Architect to join their team for an initial 12 month contract. This will be working on a hybrid basis, roughly 2 days per week onsite close to Utrecht however this may fluctuate slightly depending on meetings/project situation. Candidates will need to be fluent Dutch speakers and hold a Dutch passport due to the level of clearance needed. Required Experience: Knowledge of network technologies, preferably at a low level (including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, TLS, and network protocols).Recent experience with or demonstrable affinity for software development and scripting (e.g., Go, Java, or similar programming languages).Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and cryptographic solutions, including Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).Experience analyzing and resolving complex technical issues within enterprise environments.Good experience designing CI/CD pipelines, creating designs for Ansible/TerraformUnderstanding of security architectures and the underlying technical components that comprise them.Good Linux and container technology skills Nice to have skills : Strong analytical skills and an intrinsic motivation to understand and solve complex technical problems.Solution-oriented and result-driven, with the ability to operate effectively in a complex and dynamic environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to independently conduct technical discussions with suppliers and external partners.Ability to translate technical solutions, risks, and dependencies into understandable, high-level issues for management, architects, and other stakeholders.Capable of acting as a bridge between in-depth technical teams and business or management stakeholders.
