Software Engineer (React & Next.js) (Mandarin Speaking)

We are looking for a Software Engineer (React & Next.js) to join our growing Engineering team. You will work closely with product stakeholders, designers and cross-functional teams to build and continuously improve user-facing applications using React, Next.js. and TypeScript. Responsibilities Build, enhance and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js. and TypeScript.Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.Collaborate with Product, Design and other engineering teams to improve application usability and user experience.Develop applications based on designs, mockups and prototypes, while also contributing your own ideas to improve the product.Integrate applications with REST APIs, GraphQL and third-party libraries.Implement authentication and authorization solutions such as OAuth and JWT.Optimise frontend applications for speed, scalability and performance.Monitor and troubleshoot frontend performance and browser-related issues.Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive technical feedback.Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.Prepare technical documentation where required.Contribute to technical discussions, meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.Keep up to date with emerging frontend technologies and development best practices.Ensure applications maintain high standards of UI quality, design consistency and brand experience. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Frontend Developer or Software Engineer.Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React and Next.js.Good understanding of the complete web development lifecycle from design and development through testing, deployment and maintenance.Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts.Good understanding of frontend performance optimisation.Experience with Git and GitHub.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.Proficiency in using AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Bolt.new, Cursor, Windsurf) to enhance development productivity.Comfortable working with designers, stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.A good eye for UI layout, usability and design consistency. Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of responsibility and good working attitude.
