About The Role We are seeking passionate and talented developers to join our expanding team as part of a strategic initiative to build two new dedicated developer teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of platform development, working on complex, scalable, and high-performance applications. As a developer at Mittwald, you will participate in an intensive onboarding program designed to familiarize you with our tech stack, development processes, and company culture. Post onboarding, you will integrate into your respective team, taking on responsibilities that include designing, developing, and maintaining our core services and applications. Your contributions will directly impact the evolution of our platform, ensuring it remains robust, efficient, and aligned with the needs of our users. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development with experience in modern programming languages and frameworks. You should be familiar with working in collaborative environments, using version control systems like Git, and have a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning. A background in backend development, particularly with technologies such as Go, Node.js, or TypeScript, is highly desirable. You should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand complex systems and dependencies. Previous experience with cloud-native tools, containerization, and monitoring solutions will be advantageous. Responsibilities Implement sustainable technical solutions that contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the platform.Develop and maintain applications and services using Go or Node.js, addressing defined issues and feature requests.Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and other teams to shape and refine project requirements.Maintain existing services, identify opportunities for performance optimization, and implement necessary improvements.Create automated tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to high-quality coding standards.Diagnose and resolve issues within services, APIs, and databases, even when root causes are complex or not immediately apparent.
