About The Role We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team and contribute to the ongoing development of our hosting platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes and container orchestration. As part of our team, you will participate in an intensive onboarding program, where you will be trained in our tech stack, including Go, Linux, Kubernetes, and Helm. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance and maintain our Kubernetes-based hosting environment, ensuring its stability, performance, and scalability. You will develop new automation solutions, implement innovative use cases such as Kubernetes operators and bare-metal deployments, and monitor system health to prevent disruptions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about system engineering, eager to learn, and ready to take on responsibility in a collaborative environment. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with experience in system administration, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps roles. You should have hands-on experience with Linux servers, containerization, and cloud tools. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and monitoring solutions is essential. A proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology are crucial. Previous experience with scripting, automation, and open-source projects will be considered an advantage. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in staying updated on the latest technological trends. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the system environment supporting our web hosting products to ensure smooth operation.Advance our Kubernetes-based hosting platform, focusing on stability, performance, and scalability.Work on innovative use cases such as developing Kubernetes operators and deploying on bare-metal infrastructure.Monitor Kubernetes clusters using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Opsgenie to prevent and troubleshoot issues proactively.Implement creative automation solutions to streamline operations and improve platform quality.Stay informed about the latest developments in open-source technologies and experiment with new tools and approaches.Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, troubleshoot complex problems, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
