Senior DevOps Engineer / Lehi / Hybrid

Our client is a rapidly growing technology company based in Lehi, Utah that is looking to add a Senior DevOps Engineer to their infrastructure team. This is a full-time opportunity supporting a primarily AWS cloud environment utilizing Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Helm, Linux, and modern observability and CI/CD technologies. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work within a cloud-native environment supporting highly available applications and connected products at scale. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to do more than simply maintain an existing environment. The team is actively investing in platform engineering, developer self-service, multi-account AWS architecture, and a new open-source observability stack built around OpenTelemetry and Grafana. You’ll work closely with senior engineering leadership and other DevOps engineers, helping guide technical decisions, improve reliability, and build out scalable infrastructure as the company continues to grow. Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Engineering experience Strong AWS experience Kubernetes in production environments, ideally EKS Terraform Helm Experience supporting highly available production environments CI/CD pipeline experience Linux administration Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting Experience with incident response and troubleshooting production systems Experience with infrastructure cost optimization Desired Skills & Experience OpenTelemetry Grafana Prometheus or similar observability platforms GitOps workflows Multi-account AWS architecture Platform engineering or developer self-service experience Experience supporting environments at large user or device scale Python or Bash scripting Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 40% AWS Infrastructure 30% Kubernetes / EKS 20% Terraform, Helm & Infrastructure as Code 10% Observability & CI/CD Daily Responsibilities 80% Hands On 0% Management Duties 20% Team Collaboration The Offer Competitive base salary, approximately $130K-$150K with flexibility for strong candidates Stock Options Unlimited PTO You Will Receive The Following Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Medical premiums increasingly covered based on tenure 401(k) with Company Match Unlimited PTO Flexible scheduling where applicable Stock Options Pet Insurance Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
