The Role We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. Primary responsibilities are deploying product updates, identifying infrastructure issues and monitoring the cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities: Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructureWorking on ways to automate and improve development and release processesWorking with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intendedDeploy updates and fixesBuild tools to reduce errors and improve customer experienceBuild Dashboards/tools to monitor cloud infrastructure 24/7/365Investigate and resolve technical issuesDevelop scripts to automate visualizationDesign procedures for system troubleshooting maintenance and automationPlanning a scaling mechanism to maintain the high performance of the systemParticipate in the security and compliance review processManaging periodic reporting on the progress of DevOps and infrastructure. Requirements: Athens / Hybrid4-7 years of working experience as a DevOps Engineer roleExperience in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using various Repositories including VSTS, GITExperience with Docker, Kubernetes and/or OpenshiftProficient with Git and Git workflowsWorking knowledge of databases and SQLProblem-solving attitude and collaborative team spiritWorking knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services Desired Qualifications: Experience in cloud/virtual technologies and management - OpenStack, AWS, Azure, VMware, etc.Experience with building, deploying and managing applications and software on PaaS.Knowledge of Azure cloud services (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS services) such as Storage Accounts, Virtual Network, Virtual Network gateway, Service bus Queue, Application Gateway, WAF, Service Fabric, Load Balancer Azure SQL server, Key Vault, Active Directory, Azure SQL, App Services, VM Scale SetKnowledge, skills and abilities to manage container image repositories in support of Linux Containers.Knowledge, skills and abilities to deploy OpenShift Container Platform in both public and private cloud.Knowledge, skills and abilities to engineer and automate application deployment via CI/CD Pipelines using industry best practices and open source software.Knowledge, skills and abilities to automate the creation of Platform as a Services (PaaS) infrastructure using industry standard tools Benefits: A full compensation & benefits packageFlexible daily scheduleWork in an international, dynamic and fun environment, at a growing companyOpportunity to work with a highly talented and experienced team in state-of-the-art projects, in Greece and abroadAccess to resources for professional and personal development
