About The Role As a Senior Python Developer (w/m/d) at Visa Hunt, you will be an integral part of our in-house development team. You will take ownership of tasks, from requirements analysis to deployment, ensuring the delivery of robust and scalable features. Your expertise will help shape the technical direction of our products, particularly the opti.node SaaS solution, which plays a vital role in managing wind and solar power assets. You will collaborate closely with product owners and other developers, providing technical guidance and fostering an environment of continuous improvement. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative solutions that support the energy transition and provide tangible benefits to our clients and the environment. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should bring at least 8 years of professional software development experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on web applications. You possess excellent programming skills and a deep understanding of software architecture principles. Experience with our technology stack, including Django, Litestar, Redis, and PostgreSQL, is highly desirable. Familiarity with DevOps practices such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, is a plus. You are eager to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies, continuously enhancing your skill set. Fluency in German is required, and proficiency in technical English is advantageous for documentation and communication. Above all, you should have a genuine interest in contributing to the sustainable energy sector and making a positive environmental impact. Responsibilities Lead and execute the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment.Design and plan technical solutions for new features, ensuring they align with product goals and user needs.Write high-quality, maintainable code while conducting code reviews and implementing best practices to ensure software robustness.Serve as a technical point of contact within the development team and for the product owner, resolving complex issues and providing guidance.Mentor colleagues and share knowledge to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Continuously improve existing systems, optimize performance, and implement scalable solutions.Stay informed about industry advancements and incorporate relevant technologies into our development processes.
