Your new company A consultancy supporting Australian Government clients is seeking multiple Senior Power Platform Software Engineers to contribute to a high-profile digital portal program. The organisation offers a collaborative delivery environment where technical specialists work closely with business stakeholders to improve customer experience, streamline processes and strengthen digital service delivery. Your new role As a Senior Power Platform Software Engineer, you will join a small, multidisciplinary project team responsible for expanding and enhancing an established digital services portal. You will design, develop and integrate solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform and Power Pages. The position also requires strong front-end and full-stack development capability, including JavaScript or TypeScript, C#, .NET, APIs and Azure integration services. Working within an established application architecture, you will contribute high-quality code, reusable components and technical solutions while supporting sound engineering, source-control and CI/CD practices. Key responsibilities will include: Designing and developing solutions using Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform and Power PagesBuilding responsive user interfaces using JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSSDeveloping and integrating backend services using C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQLConnecting applications through Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management and Power AutomateWorking within established application architectures and development patternsCreating maintainable code and reusable software componentsSupporting source control, automated deployment and CI/CD through Azure DevOpsCollaborating with business analysts, designers, developers and other delivery specialistsApplying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complex digital requirementsContributing effectively within a small, high-performing project team What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated commercial experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power PlatformStrong hands-on experience developing external or customer-facing solutions using Power PagesStrong front-end development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSSExperience with a modern JavaScript framework, ideally Vue.jsFull-stack development experience across C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQLExperience integrating front-end applications with backend servicesPractical Azure integration experience, including technologies such as:Azure API ManagementAzure FunctionsLogic AppsPower AutomateExperience working with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of established application architectures, development patterns and reusable componentsStrong communication skills and experience working in multidisciplinary delivery teamsA current Baseline security clearance or higherExperience with Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent-based solutions will be highly regarded. Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will also be viewed favourably.
