Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

IT Infrastructure Engineer – Bangkok, Thailand We are working with an international technology company to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of its production infrastructure across web applications, CRM integrations, trading systems, databases, networking, security, and internal AI infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to lead a major infrastructure insourcing and migration project, while taking responsibility for the reliability, security, performance, and ongoing operation of critical production systems. Position: IT Infrastructure Engineer Location: Bangkok, Thailand Work Model: Hybrid Employment Type: Contract Key ResponsibilitiesLead the migration of infrastructure from external vendors and establish internal ownership.Manage production environments across Linux, Windows Server, on-premise, and cloud platforms.Own Docker-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.Manage trading server availability, maintenance, backups, failover, and integrations.Oversee networking and security, including Zero Trust, firewalls, VPNs, Cloudflare, and network segmentation.Manage production databases such as ClickHouse and PostgreSQL, focusing on performance, reliability, and recovery.Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, and disaster recovery processes.Maintain infrastructure documentation, access controls, credentials, and system dependency maps.Support internal AI infrastructure, including LLM serving, AI agents, and related services.Work closely with CRM, Trading Platform, and Development teams while maintaining clear infrastructure ownership. Requirements3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering with real production ownership.Strong Linux administration skills, including networking, firewalls, permissions, systemd, and shell scripting.Production experience with Windows Server, patching, services, RDP hardening, and backups.Strong Docker and containerization experience.Experience with production databases, performance optimization, and backup/restore.Solid networking and security knowledge, including DNS, TLS, VPNs, reverse proxies, and secret management.Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and production deployment workflows.Previous experience with infrastructure migration, vendor takeover, or system ownership transitions.Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools.Good Thai communication skills and communicable English.Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to collaborate effectively across infrastructure, CRM, and trading platform teams.
