At SIXT, we’re searching for a Fleet Technician to handle essential maintenance and repairs across our vehicle lineup!  From oil changes to tire replacements and vehicle inspections, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our cars are ready for our customers. Your work is vital to maintaining smooth rental operations and maximizing vehicle availability. Join us and enjoy incredible growth opportunities – with a starting hourly rate of $23.50. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT  You perform basic mechanical repairs to include oil changes, mounting and balancing tires, Tire repair, brake and part replacements  You complete Pre delivery inspections on fleet vehicles as required by management You achieve daily output goals and maintain the minimum efficiency of 100%   You use PPE every time repairs are performed always including usage of Safety Glasses while in the automotive shops You Conduct daily clean-up of work area and maintains a clean work environment YOUR SKILLS MATTER  Education & Experience You have at least 2 years' experience as an automotive technician or have graduated from a trade school Certifications You hold ASE Certifications in Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5), or you’re ready to earn them within your first year of employment Licenses & Authorization You are at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and are authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship  Work Hours & Travel You can work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and are open to travel (5-10%) WHAT WE OFFER Comprehensive Benefits Package Enjoy healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision), life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and pet insurance, along with a 401k plan to secure your future Paid Time Off & Holidays Benefit from PTO, sick leave, and receive time and a half for working on public holidays Employee Assistance Program Access support whenever needed through our Employee Assistance Program Exclusive Employee Rentals Benefit From employee-only rental rates, with family rental options and exclusive discounts for employees Uniform & Perks Receive a uniform with weekly dry cleaning, always ensuring a professional appearance
