Senior DevOps Engineer

We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote-first software company. You will work on a platform that delivers real-time support sessions inside enterprise service and CRM applications with AI assistance. The DevOps engineer will be responsible for the cloud infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and follow reliability practices. This is a hands-on, fully remote position in the US. There will be some overlap with the EU-based team. You will join a small DevOps / SRE group that supports platform, native clients and QA. The right candidate has experience participating in on-call rotation, with excellent judgement concerning change safety and staged rollouts. Core Requirements 5+ years in DevOps, site reliability, infrastructure or platform engineeringPrevious production AWS experience (ECS, EC2 autoscaling, VPC networking, load balancing, etc.)Hands-on OpenTofu or Terraform experienceProduction experience developing infrastructure as code (AWS CDK or CDK for Terraform)Proficiency with TypeScript & JavaScript for automation development / internal toolingLinux admin, including shell scripting & Docker experienceDemonstrated experience designing and maintaining CI/CD systemsOperating Node.js apps in production Additional Preferred Skills & Experience WebRTC, SIP or other UDP-based real-time systemsJanus, Mediasoup, or TURN servicesAWS Global AcceleratorUDP Load balancingLarge-scale migration from CloudFormation to Terrraform or OpenTofuRedis, OpenSearch and MySQLNew Relic, Grafana or SentryCloudFront, AWS WAF or Lambda@EdgeCode signing and release engineering for macOS, Windows & Android clientsSOC2 or comparable compliance frameworks Core Responsibilities Design & maintain infrastructure as code in TypeScript using AWS CDK and CDK for Terraform, including shared construct librariesLead migration from AWS CloudFormation to CDK for TerraformProvision / maintain computer on Amazon ECS, including EC2 capacity providers, autoscaling groups & spot capacity across multiple accounts & regionsDesign, maintain & troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild & BitBucketPlan capacity and execute deploymentsDevelop / maintain observability practices (metrics, logging, alerting, incidents)Participate in an on-call rotationImplement identity, secrets, and encryption practices in AWS IAM, KMS, and Systems Manager.
