The Role Architect durable serverless systems and develop clean, reliable Python services. Power mission-critical workflows such as claims processing, eligibility ingestion, and care coordination. Design and build large-scale, resilient serverless systems using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. Develop backend APIs for both member-facing and partner-integrated applications. Implement secure, compliant data flows aligned with healthcare privacy standards. Mentor other engineers and contribute to engineering culture and technical standards. What You'll Need 7+ years of backend engineering experience with production-grade systems. Expert-level experience with AWS serverless technologies and event-driven design. Strong Python fundamentals including TDD, clean architecture, and modular code. Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and observability.
