Our challenge: We are seeking a Java & Snowflake Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development, Snowflake, and SQL, along with familiarity working in Linux environments. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting scalable applications and data solutions. The Role Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.Work extensively with Snowflake for data storage, processing, and analytics solutions.Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries in Oracle and Snowflake environments.Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.Participate in application development, integration, testing, and production support activities.Troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes in application and database environments.Work in Linux environments for application deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and production support teams.Follow coding standards, development best practices, and Synechron’s delivery methodologies.Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: You are: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.Strong knowledge of SQL, preferably with experience in:OracleSnowflakeFamiliarity with the Linux operating system and command-line utilities.Good understanding of software development life cycle processes.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Nice-to-have: It would be great if you also had: Experience with Java-based frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.Knowledge of data migration, ETL, or data integration processes.Familiarity with shell scripting.Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.Exposure to financial services or banking applications.
