About the RoleFamily Leisure is expanding our in-house technology team and looking for a hands-on Web Developer to manage, maintain, and improve our customer-facing website.
You’ll work directly with our internal team and outside digital marketing agency to improve the online customer experience, build new functionality, and support our SEO, paid advertising, and ecommerce efforts across multiple retail locations.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes initiative, and can turn ideas and marketing priorities into tested, working website improvements.
What You’ll DoManage website development and maintenance.
Handle ongoing updates, troubleshoot issues, build landing pages, improve product and category pages, and develop new functionality.
Take ownership of making and deploying changes rather than relying on an outside vendor for routine development.Implement technical SEO improvements.
Work with structured data/schema, canonical tags, redirects, crawlability, and JavaScript rendering issues.
Understand the purpose behind agency recommendations and translate them into effective website changes.Improve website speed and performance.
Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, optimize images and lazy loading, reduce unnecessary scripts, and troubleshoot performance issues across desktop and mobile.Support our multi-location website.
Build and maintain location pages, store locators, product feeds, and reusable templates that allow us to deliver consistent content while supporting each store’s local needs.Implement and troubleshoot website tracking.
Work with Google Tag Manager, GA4, conversion tracking, and advertising pixels for Google, Meta, and Microsoft Ads.
Inspect data-layer activity, validate events, and collaborate with our marketing technology team and agency on call tracking and integrations supporting offline conversion imports.Collaborate on ongoing improvements.
Work constructively with our outside agency and internal stakeholders to prioritize requests, communicate technical considerations, test changes, and deliver updates.
Help evaluate future CMS options, integrations, and ecommerce capabilities as business needs evolve.What We’re Looking ForHands-on development experience.
Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, along with experience making back-end changes and troubleshooting CMS-driven websites.
You should be comfortable working in code—not just editing content through a visual interface.CMS or ecommerce platform experience.
Our website currently runs on CS-Cart.
Direct CS-Cart experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
Developers with experience in WordPress, Sitecore, or other CMS and ecommerce platforms are encouraged to apply, provided they can become proficient in CS-Cart and independently implement changes.Technical understanding and ownership.
Working knowledge of technical SEO, website performance, and marketing measurement, along with the ability to troubleshoot problems, test your work, and deploy changes carefully.
Clear communication and a collaborative approach to agency partnerships are important.Practical AI fluency.
Experience using AI to support development, debugging, testing, documentation, or workflow improvements.
We’re especially interested in examples of AI-assisted workflows or agent-based projects you’ve built.
Certifications are welcome, but practical work and demonstrated ability matter more.
