Summary ✨ AI‑Generated

A growing cybersecurity technology company is looking for a Mid-to-Senior Backend or Full Stack Developer to help build a platform from the ground up. You will work primarily on backend systems while contributing to architecture, APIs, integrations, frontend development, AI/LLM automation, and cloud infrastructure, with significant autonomy and ownership.

Highlights

Long-term role with substantial technical ownership, influence over architecture, opportunities to build a platform from the ground up, and exposure to backend, frontend, AI, automation, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies.

Description

EcomWall is building a cybersecurity platform for companies that want to understand how they look from an attacker’s perspective. Our SaaS product, LeakPulse, brings together external exposure, leaked data, vulnerabilities and other signals that can be used by attackers, and turns them into something a company can actually understand and act on. We are looking for a Mid to Senior Backend or Full Stack Developer to join us for the long term and help build the platform from the ground up. This is not a role where you simply receive tickets and implement them. We are looking for someone who brings experience, thinks independently, challenges ideas, helps shape the architecture and can take ownership of what they build. What you will work with Our current stack includes: • Python • Django • React • PostgreSQL • APIs and integrations • AI / LLM systems and automation • Cloud and infrastructure The role will primarily involve backend development, but we expect you to be comfortable working across the stack when needed. You will also be involved in things such as: • Designing and evolving the platform architecture • Building new product functionality • Developing APIs and integrations • Working with AI and LLM based systems • Improving reliability, performance and security • Making technical decisions rather than simply implementing predefined solutions • Brainstorming new approaches and solving problems that do not yet have obvious answers Who we are looking for You are probably a good fit if you: • Have solid professional experience as a developer • Are comfortable working independently • Can take ownership of a problem from idea to working solution • Have strong backend development skills • Can work with frontend when necessary • Have practical experience with AI / LLM technologies • Think beyond the immediate task and consider the bigger product • Like figuring things out rather than waiting for detailed instructions • Enjoy challenging technical problems and fast-moving environments • Want to build something for the long term, not take on another short-term project We are not looking for someone who needs to be taught how professional software development works. We want someone who brings experience and adds capability to the team from day one. How we work We are currently remote-first, with optional meetups. The company will eventually have an office in Vilnius, with a hybrid setup combining office and remote work. We care more about results and ownership than sitting in front of a computer for a particular number of hours. Sometimes building a company means going beyond what was originally planned when something important needs to get done. We are looking for people who are comfortable with that reality and who care about the outcome, not just completing their assigned hours. At the same time, we want to build a pleasant environment where people can work independently, speak openly and have a real influence on what we build. There is also another way to join We have allocated equity for technical talent. For the right person who wants to become a long-term part of EcomWall, there is an opportunity to join with an equity component as part of the overall arrangement. A traditional paid employment arrangement is also possible. We are deliberately keeping the exact structure flexible because it depends on the person, experience and level of commitment. The important part is that we are looking for people who want to build the company with us, not people looking for a short engagement. Location Lithuania only. You need to be based in Lithuania and able to work with the team in Vilnius as our hybrid setup develops. Interested? If you are a developer who looks at an early-stage product and immediately starts thinking about how you would build it, what you would change and what could be done better, we would like to hear from you. Send us your CV, LinkedIn or GitHub, and a short introduction about yourself and what you have built.
