Software Engineering Team Lead (AWS, PHP, Laravel) Greater Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) Salary up to £70,000 + Bonus Are you looking to take your next step into leadership and Engineering Manager roles? We have partnered with a Manchester-based technology and market research company that is looking for a Team Lead / Engineering Manager to join its growing team. Over the past decade, they have supported some of the world's leading brands with data-driven intelligence that drives growth and decision-making. Following a period of strong expansion, they continue to invest heavily in their engineering and data capabilities as they scale through 2026. You'll lead a small, high-performing engineering team of 3, driving technical delivery, mentoring engineers and working closely with Product and Tech Leads to evolve modern web applications and APIs. What you'll do Lead and develop a team of 3 software engineers. (Tech wise they're AWS Serverless, PHP/Laravel, Javascript/Typescript)Own delivery, planning and technical priorities for the team.Work with Product and Tech Leads to shape architecture and roadmaps.Drive engineering best practices across quality, testing and observability.Support hiring, coaching, performance reviews and career development.Champion continuous improvement across tooling, automation and delivery.
