Description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mid-Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to join a core application development team, with a primary focus on backend development while also contributing to front-end development when needed.
In this role, you will work with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core, developing and maintaining enterprise applications, APIs, and integrations while collaborating closely with engineers, Functional Analysts, and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core Design and implement REST APIs and integration services with external systems Collaborate with engineers and Functional Analysts to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions Develop clean, maintainable, and reliable application code Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and QA processes Troubleshoot issues and support bug fixing Optimize and improve existing application code Work with relational databases and data-driven applications Contribute to front-end development activities when required Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of professional software development experience Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core Good knowledge of designing and consuming REST APIs Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server or equivalent Basic knowledge of front-end technologies Experience with collaboration and development tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and software quality practices Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions Ability to work collaboratively within a development team and meet defined timelines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Previous experience in a banking or fintech environment
