We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our Server Team and help build and evolve the C2 web-service ecosystem behind our products, working across backend and frontend services on areas such as real-time data, maps, system integrations, APIs, and performance. You’ll work in a small, experienced team with significant ownership, using technologies including Node.js, TypeScript, Svelte, and GraphQL. What You Will Be Doing Develop and maintain features across our Node.js, Svelte and GraphQL stackBuild functionality involving map rendering, data visualisation, system integrations and connected devicesHelp standardise APIs and data exchange between systems and improve application performanceDesign solutions, document feature data flows and architecture, and ensure new functionality is well testedInvestigate production issues using system data and continuously improve the codebase, architecture and development processesCollaborate closely with Product, Platform and QA, gathering information and agreeing on solutions across teamsTake increasing ownership of features and initiatives, contribute actively to technical discussions, and over time help drive architectural improvements and lead smaller development efforts What We Are Looking For Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js, with solid JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentalsExperience working with non-relational databases, ideally MongoDBGood knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, Angular, or similarPractical experience with Docker, Git, unit testing and end-to-end testingThe ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, challenge ideas constructively, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleaguesA proactive, quality-focused mindset and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and problem spacesFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools and using them effectively in your workflow Nice to have: experience with Svelte, GraphQL, Tailwind CSS, real-time applications, map engines such as Leaflet or MapLibre GL, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana.
