Responsibilities Design & build APIs: Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable RESTful services using Java (Spring Boot) and Go.Own features end-to-end: Take features from client requirements and technical design through development, testing, and production deployment.Integrate systems: Connect external APIs and data pipelines while collaborating closely with Angular/TypeScript frontend engineers.Automate regulatory workflows: Build rule engines, data validation pipelines, and audit trails to automate complex compliance processes.Work with clients: Participate in technical discovery sessions, workshops, and demos, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.Leverage AI: Use AI-assisted development tools such as LLMs and GitHub Copilot, and contribute to integrating AI capabilities for document understanding and data extraction.Improve our technology: Modernize legacy systems and contribute to improvements across internal tooling, CI/CD, and deployment processes.Mentor & collaborate: Conduct code reviews, support junior and mid-level engineers, and help strengthen engineering standards and practices. Qualifications 6+ years of backend software engineering experience, ideally developing enterprise-grade SaaS products.Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot.Solid experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and transactional integrity.Practical experience with Docker and CI/CD tools and practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clean, maintainable software.Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with non-technical stakeholders. Nice To Have Production experience with Go (Golang) or an interest in developing with Go alongside Java.Familiarity with TypeScript and Angular.Experience with Redis, MongoDB, or other caching/document database technologies.Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.Practical experience with AI/LLM technologies, such as prompt engineering, RAG, or model integration.
