The aiR Assist team builds the chat and agent experiences behind Relativity’s AI products.
We create interactive, conversational user experiences that help legal and enterprise users leverage AI capabilities through scalable, reliable, and intuitive interfaces.
Our team develops on top of a shared frontend platform that includes composable micro-frontends, shared AI context services, and a modular component architecture designed for rapid innovation and long-term maintainability.
About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the aiR Assist team at Relativity.
In this role, you will build and evolve the chat and agent experience behind our AI products, delivering the interactive, conversational UI that legal and enterprise users rely on.
You will transform rapidly evolving AI capabilities into polished, dependable product experiences.
You will own frontend delivery for AI chat and agent experiences while helping shape a modern frontend platform built on composable micro-frontends, shared context management, and modular architecture.
Beyond implementation, you will help establish engineering standards, mentor peers, and drive quality, accessibility, performance, and maintainability across a large-scale cloud platform.
We are looking for someone with a platform mindset who values reusable building blocks, clean module boundaries, and sustainable architecture while delivering product experiences that evolve quickly based on user feedback.
Job Description And Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable chat and agent user interfaces using React 19, TypeScript, PrimeReact, and Relativity’s internal design systems.Build rich AI-powered chat experiences, including streaming responses, conversational state management, tool and skill interactions, and human-in-the-loop workflows.Consume and contribute to Relativity’s micro-frontend platform, including web component-based applications, CDN-delivered experiences, and shared AI context services.Apply frontend modularization practices through clean module boundaries, shared libraries, code splitting, and Nx monorepo development.Build responsive, accessible, and cross-platform user experiences that meet modern web accessibility standards (WCAG).Collaborate with UX, Product, and Backend Engineering teams to rapidly respond to user feedback and deliver continuous product improvements.Define and promote frontend engineering standards for testing, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.Own comprehensive frontend test coverage using Vitest, Playwright, visual regression testing, and Storybook-driven component development.Contribute to frontend CI/CD processes, including automated delivery pipelines, progressive CDN deployments, versioning strategies, and component lifecycle workflows.Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across frontend-focused initiatives.Explore and integrate AI-driven enhancements into customer-facing and internal experiences.
Required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
4-6+ years of professional frontend development experience building large-scale web applications or enterprise platforms.Advanced proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and the modern React ecosystem, including hooks and concurrent rendering patterns.Demonstrated experience designing reusable UI infrastructure, shared libraries, and scalable frontend abstractions.Strong experience with modular architecture, code splitting, lazy loading, and micro-frontend concepts such as module federation, web-component composition, or similar approaches.Experience working with component libraries such as PrimeReact, Material UI, or similar frameworks.Strong responsive web design skills, including semantic HTML, modern CSS methodologies, and cross-device user experiences.Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, as well as modern frontend state and data-fetching solutions such as React Query and Zustand.Familiarity with modern bundlers and monorepo tooling, including Vite, Webpack, Nx, or Turborepo.Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards (WCAG).Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests using tools such as Vitest, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
Preferred
Experience building frontend infrastructure in cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.Experience contributing to a design system or shared enterprise component library.Experience with module federation and runtime composition of independently deployed frontend applications.Understanding of backend technologies such as .NET or Node.js to support effective cross-functional collaboration.Familiarity with AI-enhanced frontend experiences, including chat interfaces, streaming responses, agentic workflows, or intelligent UI patterns.Interest in or experience with AI/ML-assisted UI and UX development, including personalization and generative interaction experiences.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
208 000 and 312 000PLN
The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
