Job Title: Mid-Level Azure Cloud Engineer Job Type: Permanent (Hybrid, Dublin City Centre) Job Description: Our client is seeking a Mid-Level Azure Cloud Engineer to join their technology team, with a particular focus on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments. Job Responsibilities Design, deploy and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.Manage and support containerised workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the reliability and performance of Azure services.Support the automation and optimisation of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.Work closely with development, infrastructure, security and other technology teams to deliver cloud-based solutions.Apply appropriate cloud security, governance and operational best practices across Azure environments.Assist with ongoing improvements to cloud architecture, processes and technical standards.Contribute to the implementation and support of highly available, resilient cloud services. Experience Required Minimum 3–5 years' experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering or a closely related position.Strong hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure in an enterprise environment.Demonstrable experience deploying, managing and troubleshooting Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Good understanding of containerisation and Kubernetes concepts.Experience supporting production cloud infrastructure and resolving technical issues.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and wider stakeholders. Desirable Skills Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation technologies.Knowledge of CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.Understanding of Azure networking, identity, security and governance.Experience with cloud monitoring, logging and performance management.Exposure to highly regulated or enterprise-scale technology environments would be beneficial. Educational Requirements Third-level degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.Relevant Microsoft Azure or Kubernetes certifications would be advantageous.
