Role Description The DevOps Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable software delivery for client projects. The consultant will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate infrastructure provisioning, manage configuration, and ensure system reliability and scalability. Daily tasks include managing infrastructure-as-code templates, monitoring environments, troubleshooting deployment issues, and optimizing build and release processes. The DevOps Consultant is also expected to provide technical guidance, document solutions, and contribute to best practices for DevOps across multiple client engagements. Qualifications Strong background in Software Development and Integration to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and improve delivery workflows.Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration practices and tools to build, test, and deploy applications efficiently.Practical knowledge of Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning, configuration, and environment management.Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).Understanding of networking, system monitoring, and security best practices in distributed environments.Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in consulting or working with enterprise clients is an advantage; familiarity with RPA or automation projects is a plus.
