Senior Manager – Platform Engineering

We're hiring a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering to join our crew at QOCO Systems! Are you a platform-first engineering leader who treats platform engineering as a product, not a support function? The technology matters, but how you lead is what will make you successful here. You will report directly to our CTO and be part of the engineering leadership, with real influence over the technical direction of the company. At QOCO, we develop SaaS solutions that help global airlines and MROs (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) turn complex data into smooth operations and reduced aircraft downtime. You will own the foundations everything else is built on. What You'll Be Doing Owning the roadmap for cloud infrastructure, reliability, observability, security and AI platform foundationsLeading two teams: Infrastructure, and Customer Integrations, who work as technical specialists on customer delivery projectsRunning the operations and outcomes of the Infrastructure teamTreating reliability as a defined, defended number, with clear KPIs behind itLine managing the Customer Integrations engineers and allocating them efficiently across delivery projectsHiring, growing and developing the capabilities of both teamsBalancing long-term platform strategy with hands-on execution What We Expect From You As a Leader We value open, respectful communication in both directions.
