We are exclusively supporting a high-growth Series A commerce technology company, an all-in-one marketplace app that effortlessly manages property lettings, utilities and payments into one seamless experience.

Engineers work close to the problem, take features end-to-end and see their work land in production quickly.

They are now hiring a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer into a lean team where impact is visible and progression comes through responsibility, not hierarchy.

What you will be doing:
Building modern frontend experiences using React, Next.js and React NativeDeveloping backend services and APIs (current stack includes PHP / Laravel, but strong backend engineers from other stacks are welcome)Working in a cloud-native environment on AWSShipping features rapidly in close collaboration with product and designUsing AI tooling heavily to improve development speed and problem solvingContributing to technical decisions, tooling and architectureWorking directly with senior engineers and the CTOThis is a proper full stack role.

An experienced and ambitious Engineer, you'll be the first hire into the US, and therefore we're looking for a self-sufficient candidate who can hit the ground running and is happy work with aider team that is based in the UK.

Strong full-stack engineering experience, with expertise in one or more modern languages such as TypeScript, PHP, React Native.Proven experience building and operating scalable, distributed systems within cloud-native environmentsStrong AWS experience, including designing, deploying and managing solutions across core AWS services (e.g.
ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, EventBridge, CloudWatch)Familiarity with observability, monitoring and performance optimisation within production environmentsExperience working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and modern DevOps practicesInterest and passion for AI-assisted development, engineering productivity tooling and modern software delivery approaches (the team uses Claude daily)Comfortable collaborating across Product, Data, Design and Engineering teams within agile, product-led environments
