About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to advancing our Kubernetes-based hosting platform. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the future of our infrastructure, ensuring that our web hosting products operate seamlessly and efficiently. You will work closely with other DevOps professionals and developers to develop, improve, and maintain our cloud-native environment. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable solutions, automating deployment processes, and monitoring system health to prevent issues before they impact our users. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in system engineering and cloud technologies, with hands-on experience in Linux, containers, and orchestration tools. A background in setting up and managing servers, coupled with a keen interest in open-source projects, is essential. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and related DevOps tools is highly desirable. You should have a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous learning. Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Go or scripting languages used in automation will be advantageous. Candidates who have completed relevant projects or have experience working in cloud environments will stand out. A collaborative attitude and strong communication skills are also important for thriving in our team-oriented culture. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the infrastructure of our web hosting products, ensuring high availability and performance.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Kubernetes-based platform, implementing new features and optimizations.Develop and deploy automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.Monitor the health of Kubernetes clusters and related systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Opsgenie, proactively addressing potential issues.Engage in creative problem-solving to develop innovative solutions that enhance platform stability, scalability, and security.Participate in knowledge sharing, code reviews, and collaborative planning to ensure best practices and high-quality deliverables.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in open-source technologies and cloud-native solutions, integrating relevant innovations into our platform.Assist in onboarding new team members, sharing expertise, and fostering a learning environment within the team.
