We’re looking for an Automation Engineer with experience in Azure who enjoys working on a mix of client projects and in-house product development, alongside students. Build something that a school will actually use next week In most automation jobs, you automate processes for a client you never meet. At ParaSoll , it’s different. We work exclusively for the education sector. The scripts, pipelines, and cloud solutions you build are used by schools and universities and make a direct difference for teachers, IT teams, and students. A digital exam system that works flawlessly when 800 students log in—that’s your work. The function To strengthen our Azure team, we are looking for an Automation Engineer. You will work on a mix of external projects and internal product development. For clients—typically IT teams at educational institutions—you’ll automate the setup and management of Azure environments. This includes infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and eliminating manual tasks that nobody really wants to do anymore. You’ll provide advice, write designs, and handle the technical implementation. In addition, we develop our own products in collaboration with a school consortium. Students come to work with us in groups on a final project that results in a real product. One example is an AI bot trained to handle security incidents, which students in the security program use to practice de-escalation techniques. Each period is a sprint in which the product advances to the next level. You’ll be the technical linchpin in this process: you’ll ensure quality, contribute to the development, and help students get their ideas up and running. Who are you? You’re passionate about automation and the cloud. You see repetitive work as a problem that can be solved with code. You have experience with Azure and tools such as PowerShell, Bicep, or Terraform, as well as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Experience with AI tools in your work is a plus, but not a requirement. Curiosity and the willingness to quickly learn those tools, however, are essential. You’re good with young people who don’t have much business experience yet. You explain things without being condescending, adapt your language and leadership style, and at the same time keep the ultimate goal in mind: an educational, enjoyable internship and a successful product iteration. Technology holds no secrets for you, and you stay up to date on what's happening in your field. Your Career Path We assume that you're still relatively early in your career.
