About the role
We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our Product Engineering team and play a key role in bringing an innovative AI-driven music and language learning platform into production.
Working within a small, agile innovation team, you will help transform an existing pilot product into a scalable, robust solution while developing new features and authoring tools that enhance the learning experience.
This is a hands-on full-stack development role, combining modern technologies including React, TypeScript, Next.js and Python.
You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across AI, DevOps and Data disciplines, using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and continuously improve how software is built.
You'll also work with overseas development teams, contributing to technical decision-making, sharing engineering best practice and helping to drive consistency across a wider international technology function.
About you
You are an experienced software developer with strong full-stack expertise and a passion for building high-quality, user-focused products.
You have hands-on experience developing production software and are comfortable working with React, TypeScript, Next.js and Python in fast-paced, evolving environments.
You are naturally proactive and self-motivated, able to take ownership of work from concept through to delivery.
You enjoy solving complex problems, turning ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions, and working collaboratively within small agile teams.
You'll bring experience of modern web development practices, strong attention to code quality and maintainability, and an enthusiasm for leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
Experience with Tailwind, DynamoDB, Auth0, Ant Design, DevOps practices or data products would be beneficial but is not essential.
If you're excited by the opportunity to shape AI-first product development and make a significant impact within a growing innovation team, we'd love to hear from you.
