Senior BPM Engineer

Location: Doha, Qatar (On-site) Nationality: Any Experience: 8-5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the RoleKalSoft is looking for a Senior BPM Engineer to design, build, and operate process automation solutions for government e-services using Camunda 8. The role will also support clients migrating from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8 and will involve ownership of workflow design through production support. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, integration teams, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable process automation solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesModel and implement BPMN 2.0 workflows and DMN decision tables for citizen and business e-servicesDevelop job workers and process applications using Java / Spring Boot. Experience with Node.js will be an advantageIntegrate workflows with government back-end systems, national identity/authentication services, and payment gateways using REST, gRPC, and messaging technologies such as KafkaDeploy, configure, and operate Camunda 8, including Zeebe, Operate, Tasklist, Optimize, and Connectors, on Kubernetes in on-premise or in-country cloud environmentsLead Camunda 7 to Camunda 8 migration assessments and execution for legacy workloadsDefine and monitor process SLAs and troubleshoot incidents, bottlenecks, and failed process instancesBuild automated process tests and CI/CD pipelines while enforcing code quality and security standardsMentor junior developers and contribute to solution architecture and project estimationRequired QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of hands-on Camunda experience, including production delivery using Camunda 8 / ZeebeStrong experience with Java and Spring BootSolid experience in REST API development and integration designExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or JenkinsUnderstanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, including OAuth2/OIDC and Keycloak or equivalent technologiesProven experience delivering at least two end-to-end workflow automation programs for enterprise or government clientsStrong understanding of BPMN-based process automation and enterprise workflow solutionsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills for working with technical teams, business analysts, and client stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsCamunda Certified Professional certification (Developer or Architect)Previous experience with Camunda 7 to Camunda 8 migrationExposure to agentic / AI-assisted orchestration on CamundaExperience with payment or case-management processes in the GCC public sectorExperience with Node.js will be an added advantage
