About The Role We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at the Mönchengladbach location near Düsseldorf. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our digital transformation initiatives within our project management team at Scheidt & Bachmann Signalling Systems GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that deliver tangible business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to implement scalable and efficient Salesforce applications aligned with business requirements. Your expertise will help streamline processes, enhance system integrations, and support the company's digital strategy, ultimately contributing to safer, smarter, and more sustainable transportation solutions. Qualifications A successfully completed university degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable qualification.At least 2 years of professional experience in developing and configuring Salesforce solutions.Salesforce certifications including "Platform Developer I" and "Platform App Builder."Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Salesforce Flows, and data modeling.Strong understanding of security and sharing models within Salesforce, as well as user interface configuration.Experience with REST API integrations, Git-based development workflows, and Salesforce CLI tools.Practical knowledge of Python is advantageous.Excellent communication skills in German and English, with a valid work permit for the EU.Strong team orientation, collaboration skills, and a design-driven approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities Develop innovative Salesforce solutions that provide measurable business benefits by creating custom Lightning Web Components, Apex controllers, and triggers based on detailed user stories and business requirements.Transform manual workflows into efficient digital processes by designing and implementing low-code automations using Salesforce Flows, thereby enhancing operational productivity.Configure the Salesforce platform holistically, including data models, user interfaces, roles, and permission sets, to ensure seamless and secure system operation.Integrate Salesforce with external systems through REST APIs, ensuring real-time data exchange and process automation via Platform Events and other event-driven mechanisms.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and fellow developers, utilizing modern development tools such as Salesforce CLI, Git, and Visual Studio Code, to ensure high-quality and maintainable solutions.Participate in agile development cycles, contribute to technical documentation, and support testing and deployment activities to ensure smooth project execution.
