About The Role We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend Developer with a specialization in WordPress to join our team in full-time capacity at our Viersen location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within agile teams that prioritize flat hierarchies, fostering an environment of collaboration and creativity. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing responsive and visually appealing websites, translating design concepts into functional WordPress templates, and ensuring the technical and aesthetic quality of each project. You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from small updates to large-scale website developments exceeding 500 hours. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of code quality and user experience, directly impacting our clients' digital presence. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for WordPress development and a strong foundation in web technologies. You should possess excellent coding skills in HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with a preference for clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Experience with Docker and Git is essential, demonstrating your familiarity with modern development workflows. Knowledge of Bootstrap and Symfony frameworks will be considered advantageous. You should also have a proactive attitude, enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, and be committed to delivering high-quality results. First-hand experience in client communication and project management will be beneficial, along with a keen eye for design and usability. Responsibilities Manage and support existing client websites, including direct communication with clients when needed.Independently implement complete responsive website designs as WordPress templates.Ensure the technical functionality and visual quality of websites through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.Collaborate with team members on medium to large projects, contributing to all phases of development from conception to deployment.Maintain and optimize code to ensure performance, security, and scalability.Stay updated with the latest web development trends and incorporate best practices into your work.Participate in code reviews and team discussions to foster continuous improvement.
