About The Role We are seeking a talented Fullstack Web Developer specializing in PHP and WordPress to join our team in Viersen. In this full-time position, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining engaging, high-performing websites for a diverse range of clients. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for both frontend and backend tasks, ensuring the technical and aesthetic quality of our digital projects. You will have the chance to work on projects of varying complexity, from simple website updates to large-scale web applications exceeding 500 hours of development work. The role requires a proactive approach, a passion for coding, and a desire to continuously learn and implement new technologies. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have proven experience in web development, particularly with PHP and WordPress. A strong understanding of clean code principles and a preference for custom development over ready-made templates are essential. You should be comfortable working within WordPress environments, both technically and conceptually. Proficiency in HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP is required, along with familiarity with Docker and Git for version control and containerization. Knowledge of frameworks such as Bootstrap, Symfony, and templating engines like Twig is highly desirable. Experience with frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js will be considered an advantage. Additional familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopware, Shopify, Magento, or Gambio is beneficial. The role demands a self-driven, structured, and goal-oriented working style, with excellent communication skills in German and English.
