Project Admission is a Live Entertainment Solutions Platform that works directly with the industry to expand ticket distribution. Our platform provides unique monetizing features and opportunities around the life of the ticket, adding value and simplifying the commercialization of live events. Tickets managed through Project Admission are easy to use, secure, and enhance the ticketing experience for fans, teams, venues, and ticketing companies alike. The Role We are looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Engineer who is interested in working on high-performance web applications. You’ll build products that are used and loved around the globe by fans with an unending passion for live events. You will work with a veteran development team responsible for designing, implementing, and shipping new features as well as improving existing features across both the user experience and the back-end infrastructure that powers it. This role spans the full stack. You will move between building interfaces from high-fidelity designs, shaping the APIs those interfaces consume, and the data model and services behind them. You are capable of building fast, scalable code that accomplishes business goals against an ever-changing digital landscape, and you are comfortable owning a feature end to end. Responsibilities Be self-directed and be able to prioritize your own workload.Participate and follow through feature development, from project inception to technical planning to launch, across both frontend and backend.Design, build, and consume APIs that connect our applications to our platform services.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them to actual code.Iterate on solutions based on internal and external (customer) feedback.Be involved in product and UX brainstorming sessions.Contribute to code quality through testing, code review, and thoughtful debugging. Requirements Expertise in the latest web development best practices across both client and server, including single page applications.In-depth knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework such as Vue.js or React.js; we use Vue.js.Experience in PNPM and VITE for JavaScript tooling.Strong server-side development experience in PHP with a modern framework such as Symfony or similar, and working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL.Experience managing application data and state in a single page application.Experience building user interfaces from high fidelity designs, using and expanding upon design library patterns.Strong unit test, browser-based debugging, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills at all levels of an organization and within a strong technical environment. Preferred (not required) experience with Designing, writing, and consuming GraphQL APIs in a single page application.Planning and coding large user interface design systems.Writing end-to-end tests; we use Playwright.Third-party integrations (billing, shipping) consuming both REST and SOAP APIs.Dev/SysOps, cloud hosting, and services (AWS).Configuring and running load tests, and optimizing systems based on the results.Apache, Redis, Elasticsearch.Working on remote/distributed teams.Experience in the live events or ticketing industries.
