Technical Product Manager – Autonomous AI Hardware & Software

About The Role The Product Manager will bring strong product strategy, customer, market and commercial capability and will work closely with the Technical Lad for product development and delivery. Key Responsibilities Product strategy – understanding where the Optical Terminal Guidance product can create value and how we build the product around genuine customer needsProduct-market fit – understanding where the product is currently falling short, validating use cases and identifying the right reference customersCustomer engagement – spending meaningful time with customers and prospects to understand their requirements and bring that intelligence back into the productMarket intelligence – understanding competitors, market developments and emerging applicationsProduct roadmap – developing an outcome-based roadmap that supports the broader business objectivesProduct development & delivery – working with the Technical Lead and the broader team to ensure the roadmap translates into delivered capabilityCommercial growth – identifying opportunities to grow revenue from established reference customers and applicationsCross-functional leadership – connecting customers, Sales, Engineering and the wider business around the product objectives Ideal Candidate The person needs to be able to understand OTG as a product that can support multiple applications across search, detection, location and object identification.There are potentially 5–6 different use cases, so an important part of the role will be understanding these applications, determining where the strongest market opportunities sit, and helping shape the product around those opportunities.Experienced in customer facing roles talking to UAV Developer, customers and other stakeholders with approximately 25% travel.Will understand the customer problem, market opportunity and business objective, then work with the technical team to determine how we deliver against it.Defence, aerospace, UAV/autonomous systems or another complex technology environmentStrong enough technically to work effectively with engineering, but not a technical product owner or software delivery specialist Why join Arkeus You will sit at the centre of a rapidly scaling deep-tech company at the forefront of defence, aerospace and advanced technology with exposure to every facet of the business, from the boardroom to the shop floor.You will join a close-knit, ego free team where ideas compete on merit, not seniority.
