An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Frontend Developer to join our talented team.
About you
We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with strong hands-on experience in React and/or Next.js who is passionate about solving problems and loves the idea of making a difference.
You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing Agile squad, working closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Testers to deliver improvements to our SaaS application.
Our frontend is complex, so you’ll need to be comfortable getting into existing code, understanding problems, and building practical solutions.
We’re also embracing AI and agentic programming across our development teams.
You’ll be expected to use AI-assisted development tools as part of your workflow and be comfortable delegating appropriate development tasks to AI agents while maintaining oversight of the work.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
3+ years of professional development experience, with a strong focus on frontend developmentStrong hands-on experience with React and/or Next.jsHands-on experience using AI-assisted or agentic programming toolsExperience developing and delivering features for SaaS applications or other complex web-based productsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailExperience working in Agile development teamsThe ability to work effectively with complex applications and existing codebasesA hands-on, responsive, and can-do attitudeStrong communication and collaboration skillsA willingness to learn and grow within the ecoPortal teamA desire to positively impact our clients and deliver real-world valueExperience with Angular is a plusExperience with other frontend frameworks is a nice-to-have
🔀 We have a great work culture and work/life balance, with 37h work weeks, office hours of Mon-Fri 8am-12pm NZT (Sun-Thu where you are) and the rest of your hours at your own discretion.
This is a full-time permanent position and includes 4 weeks of paid annual leave as part of your contract.
