Description

We’re hiring: DevOps Engineer — AWS, CI/CD & Cloud Security Location: Remote Working hours: Must align with Vancouver, Canada business hours (Pacific Time—PST/PDT). What we’re looking for • Practical experience managing AWS infrastructure and Linux servers. • Strong skills in GitHub Actions, Git, deployment automation, and shell scripting. • Confidence troubleshooting DNS, networking, TLS, Nginx, and application connectivity. • Experience with Supabase, Alembic database migrations, and migration troubleshooting. • Hands-on experience with Cloudflare, CloudFront, AWS Certificate Manager (ACM), and secure private S3 asset delivery. • Experience configuring SendGrid, including domain authentication, DNS records, and email delivery troubleshooting. • Experience supporting SOC 2 readiness, including security controls, documentation, and evidence collection. • Experience with IAM, secrets management, infrastructure hardening, and incident response. • Ability to investigate issues across applications, background workers, databases, and infrastructure. • Experience testing deployments, validating rollbacks, and documenting recovery procedures. • Clear communication, ownership, and availability during Vancouver business hours (Pacific Time—PST/PDT). Nice to have • Next.js/Node.js, Python/FastAPI, Celery, and Redis. • Google OAuth and Stripe configuration. • GitHub Actions OIDC authentication. Interested?
