About The Role We’re looking for a curious and adaptable Software Engineer, junior or intermediate, to join our internal Dev Platforms team. This team owns the shared foundation that Gallagher Security’s developers build on: pipelines, tools, platforms, and practices that make shipping software safe and repeatable. You’ll help build and maintain that platform, and you’ll stay close to the teams who use it, because their challenges are how we learn what to improve next. The best thing you’ll ship is one that means nobody needs to ask for help with that problem ever again. What You’ll Do Build and maintain the shared tools, pipelines, and services that other developers rely on.Work with development teams to understand where they get stuck, and turn that into improvements to the platform and how we workWork in a supportive squad with a great engineering culture that pairs, reviews, and shares what it learnsBring ideas for improving our tooling, infrastructure, and practices, and get the room to try them. About You We’re looking for someone who is adaptable, eager to learn, and able to pick up new concepts, languages, and areas quickly: You enjoy problem-solving and can break down complex challenges into actionable stepsYou thrive in a collaborative environment and can follow guidance while thinking independentlyYou’re motivated to grow, experiment, and learn rather than needing experience with a long list of technologiesExperience with C# would be helpful, as it’s widely used in our environment, but it is not essentialExperience with (or an interest in) software delivery tooling and practices: CI/CD, dependency management, code signing, or similar Working at Gallagher At Gallagher, we foster a collaborative, innovative environment where continuous improvement is how we work.
