Senior Software Engineer, C++/Rust

Why N-able We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cove Data Protection product engineering team. Cove Data Protection is a cloud-first backup solution used by managed service providers and enterprise IT organizations worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced C++ engineer who is passionate about building highly scalable, resilient systems and is eager to expand their expertise in Rust. As part of our long-term technology strategy, you will play a key role in evolving critical platform components while working with modern technologies and contributing to the growth of our Rust codebase. You will join an international engineering team developing Disaster Recovery services and core platform capabilities. The team is responsible for designing and delivering high-performance backend services that power the protection and recovery of customer data at scale. Our platform includes web-based management experiences backed by distributed services deployed in AWS and Kubernetes environments. As we continue modernizing our architecture, Rust is becoming an increasingly important part of our technology stack, offering exciting opportunities to work on performance-critical and reliability-focused solutions. We rely heavily on automated testing, continuous integration, code reviews, and collaborative engineering practices to maintain a high level of quality and reliability. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
