The Role
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale the core backend systems that power our platform.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIsOwn projects end-to-end as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI)Architect and implement systems using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWSCollaborate with engineers across frontend, solutions, and platform teams to deliver customer-facing capabilitiesImprove system reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainabilityParticipate in technical architecture discussions and help shape engineering directionIdentify opportunities to automate processes and improve developer productivityDebug complex production issues and implement long-term solutionsContribute to cloud infrastructure and platform decisions as neededBring new ideas, challenge assumptions, and help improve how we build products
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScriptExperience designing and building APIs and distributed systemsExperience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQLExperience with Redis or other caching technologiesComfortable working with AWS cloud servicesAbility to independently drive projects and make sound technical decisionsStrong problem-solving and debugging abilitiesExcellent communication skillsComfortable operating with ambiguity and limited handholdingStartup mindset with a willingness to wear multiple hats
