Description

Job Title: DevOps Engineer I Essential Functions Collaborate with teams across the organization, including product managers, software developers, and business leaders to translate requirements into software solutions. Support our AWS cloud infrastructure to develop, test, and deploy Kyruus Health products. You’ll own defining and supporting the tools and pipelines to power the SDLC and make peers productive as they leverage them.Evangelize the core tenets of cloud service reliability and provide application teams with the tools, methods and metrics to excel at them. You’ll help ensure our production architectures in the cloud are highly available and fault tolerant. Take on technical tasks that are highly ambiguous with lots of unknowns. You’ll use your technical expertise and mental resilience to identify that something is wrong and identify what that something is, and create innovative solutions Help educate internal teams on DevOps best practices in all aspects of our SDLC.Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure a high- quality codebase. Optimize cloud infrastructure and ensure scalability and reliability.Work to implement security controls and improve the security posture of our cloud infrastructure and network architecture. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing, cloud security and cloud infrastructure. Implement and enhance infrastructure as code such as Terraform and Pulumi to automate the deployment of cloud infrastructure. Work with a myriad of AWS services, Docker, Linux, Github Actions, Jenkins and Python. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with your core team as well as partner teams.Be a key member of our cloud infrastructure site reliability by participating in our on-call rotation. Minimum Requirements Specific Job Skills: Experience with Python is a plus.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies like Pulumi, Terraform, and CloudFormation. Knowledge and understanding of Git.Experience with various AWS services such as EC2, ECS, IAM, and VPC.Knowledge and understanding of Docker, Linux, Shell/Bash and virtualization technologies. Knowledge and understanding of CI/CD methodologies such as Jenkins, CircleCI or Github Actions. Experience with various organization/code tools such as Jira, Confluence and GitHub. Education: BS Degree or equilivent work experience Experience: N/A Supervision: N/A Certifications: N/A Language Skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
