Full Stack Developer

Position: Full Stack Developer (Java & React) Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 days/week in office) Salary: $110,000-$140,000 CAD + up to 10% STI Posting Type: Open vacancy Our client is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their growing engineering team here in Canada. This is a full-stack role with a stronger focus on front-end development, working primarily with React while contributing to backend services using Java and Spring Boot. The team works on modern enterprise software and encourages the use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor. Core Responsibilities: - Build and maintain full-stack features using React and Java/Spring Boot - Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services - Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new features - Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews - Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development workflows What They're Looking For: - 5+ years of software development experience - Strong Java/Spring Boot experience - Strong React experience - JavaScript, HTML, and CSS - TypeScript is a strong bonus - Experience with REST APIs and SQL/databases - Enterprise software development experience - Docker/Kubernetes and cloud experience is an asset This is a great opportunity for a front-end-leaning full-stack engineer who enjoys working across the stack and wants to be part of a team that actively embraces modern development practices and AI-assisted engineering.
