🛠️ Now Hiring: Database Engineer – PostgreSQL / Azure | B2B Contract | Germany We are looking for an experienced Database Engineer to support enterprise Operations Platform rollouts, covering database engineering, migration, production support, SQL development, troubleshooting, and database operations. 📍 Location: Germany 🏢 Work Model: Remote / project-based support with potential collaboration with production sites in Germany 💼 Employment Type: B2B Contract 🎯 Experience: 3+ years 🔍 What You’ll Bring: 🔹 3+ years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a comparable role 🔹 Strong PostgreSQL experience – Mandatory 🔹 Strong SQL development, troubleshooting and optimization skills 🔹 Hands-on experience with data migration, validation and reconciliation 🔹 Experience in database maintenance and production support 🔹 Strong incident resolution and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience 🔹 Good understanding of relational database concepts, schema design, table relationships and normalization 🔹 Experience with indexes, views, stored procedures and database functions 🔹 Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments 🔹 Hands-on experience with Azure-hosted database environments – Mandatory 🔹 Experience supporting database setup and configuration for application rollouts 🔹 Experience with database schema changes and application-related enhancements 🔹 Knowledge of release, deployment and production support activities 🔹 Experience with problem management and technical documentation 🔹 Ability to implement approved database changes following four-eyes / segregation-of-duties principles ⭐ Good to Have: 🔹 Azure DevOps 🔹 ServiceNow 🔹 ETL and data integration concepts 🔹 Automation / scripting for operational activities 🔹 Experience supporting enterprise-scale, business-critical applications 🎓 Qualification: ✔️ University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Business Informatics or equivalent 🌍 Language Requirements: 🇬🇧 English – Professional working proficiency 🇩🇪 German – Professional working proficiency – Mandatory The role requires active participation in German-language meetings, workshops, incident discussions, rollout activities and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders and production-site representatives. 🔗 Let’s Connect: 📩 DM me on LinkedIn to explore this opportunity. 📧 Send your CV to: chethan.as@intelligenzit.com Please feel free to share this opportunity with your network if you know someone who could be a good fit.
