At act digital, we are recruiting an Infrastructure Container Specialist (Confirmed/Senior) to join the client's Digital Infrastructure team in Lisbon.
In this role, you will be responsible for automating, standardizing, and industrializing private cloud container platforms using Terraform, Ansible, Vault, and Virtuozzo Application Manager.
What you will do
Container & Private Cloud Engineering: Design, build, and operate automated infrastructure workflows supporting private cloud container platforms.Infrastructure as Code & Configuration: Develop modular Terraform templates and Ansible playbooks to drive automated provisioning, system configuration, and repeatable infrastructure patterns.Platform Integration: Integrate container management capabilities (Virtuozzo Application Manager or equivalent enterprise container platforms) into automated CI/CD delivery pipelines.Secrets Management & Security: Architect and implement secure secrets management and identity patterns using HashiCorp Vault.Operational Excellence: Author runbooks, define platform baselines, enforce DevSecOps standards, and conduct operational lifecycle management.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, cybersecurity, solutions architecture, and application squads to ensure robust, enterprise-grade infrastructure delivery.
What we are looking for
Seniority: Confirmed or Senior background in enterprise infrastructure engineering, container platforms, and systems automation.Infrastructure as Code: Advanced expertise in Terraform and end-to-end configuration management using Ansible.Container Platforms: Proven hands-on experience in production container environments; solid knowledge of Virtuozzo Application Manager or similar enterprise application/container platforms (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes, Nomad).Secrets Management: Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault (or equivalent enterprise secrets management systems).CI/CD Integration: Practical experience connecting infrastructure provisioning and release pipelines with CI/CD tools.Languages: Fluent English (B2/C1).
